Robert Wingfield

Worked in computer systems and security at a large bank for what seems like forever, but eventually completed his tunnel, and escaped to follow his passion for the written word.

And what he does now

Writes a mass of different genres, including for young adults, gothic horror, satirical science fiction, travel, general satire and ghost stories.

He is actively helping a number of authors and small publishers with editing and formatting works in paper and e-book format.

He runs the Inca Project, a small group of talented writers, who are struggling to get their works recognised. We mutually support each other, to keep the quality of self-published works as high as possible.

The travelogue, Syros, is now available for sale, through Amazon, or direct from the author on this site, if you'd like it signed. The interior is monochrome to keep costs down, but there are links at the end, to the full colour photographs, or you can get the Kindle version for free on the Matchbook programme.

The sixth book in the satirical Dan Provocation series is nearing completion. Hoping to have that ready by the end of June 2020. Self-isolation does have its advantages.

Publishing and Printing

A seamless way of producing and selling books outside of the conventional methods has been tested, and works rather well. A small batch of high quality books can be generated for less than £100, possibly affordable to the struggling author, to give away as samples to libraries, bookshops, your granny etc. Ankerita has been generated via this method in hardcover, and a few copies are for sale on this site, so you can see what to expect.
